            "TeacherCVFull": "Brief Bio.\r\nProf. Francesco Aiello is an applied economist with broad research interests in microeconomics analyses, international trade and evidence-based public policy formulation in relation to local development and to environmental, R&D and productivity related issues. He has been visiting researcher at the University of Essex, the University of Reading, EU Commission (DG Development), University of London. Currently, much of his most research focuses on the innovation-productivity nexus at firm level and on efficiency analysis. He has published widely in many Italian journals and in several leading economic journals, some of which are: Journal of Economic Surveys (IF 3.126), Papers in Regional Science (IF 2.22), Eurasian Business Review (IF 2.222), Spatial Economic Analysis (IF 1.628), Empirical Economics (IF 1.308), Structural Change and Economic Dynamics (IF 2.023), Applied Economics (IF 1.103), Small Business Economics (IF 4.803), Metroeconomica (IF 1), China and World Economy (IF 1.865).             "TeacherCVFull": "Angelo Algieri is Associate Professor of Energy Systems and Power Generation at the Department of Mechanical, Energy and Management Engineering of the University of Calabria since 01.11.2017. \r\n\r\n\r\nEducation\r\n\r\nHe received the (5-year) degree in Mechanical Engineering with laude at the University of Calabria (Italy) in 1999, the post-degree diploma in Metallurgy at the University of Modena e Reggio Emilia (Italy) in 2000 and the Ph.D. degree in Mechanical Engineering at the Politecnico di Bari (Italy) in 2004.\r\nHe was at the von Karman Institute for Fluid Dynamics - Rhode-St-Genèse - Belgium, where he obtained the post-degree diploma in Fluid Dynamics with honours in 2003.\r\nFollowing two post-doctoral years of research at the Mechanics Department of the University of Calabria (Italy), he worked on the fluid dynamic characterisation of internal combustion engines.\r\n\r\n\r\nAcademic activities\r\n\r\nAngelo Algieri is professor of Energy Systems for the Degree in Management Engineering at the University of Calabria since 2006/2007 and he is professor of Energy Systems Management at the Master Degree in Management Engineering at the University of Calabria since 2017/2018. \r\nHe was Assistant Professor of Energy Systems and Power Generation at the University of Calabria from 01.4.2016 to 31.10.2017.\r\nInvited lecturer at the Satakunta University of Applied Sciences of Pori (Finland) in April 2011 and at the Technical University of Košice (Slovakia) in September 2015, he was professor of Applied Energy (2003/2004) and Fluid Machinery (2004/2005) at the University of Reggio Calabria (Italy).\r\n\r\nAngelo Algieri is member of the Ph.D. Committee (“Collegio dei docenti del Dottorato di ricerca”) of the XXXIII cycle at the University of Calabria. He was member of the Ph.D. Committee of the XXII, XXIII, XXIV, XXV, XXVI, XXVII, XXVIII and XXIX cycles at the same university.\r\n\r\nHe is the coordinator for the international exchange programmes of the course degree in Management Engineering at the University of Calabria and is delegated for the internationalisation of the Department of Mechanical, Energy and Management Engineering at the University of Calabria.\r\nHe is responsible for the inter-institutional agreements between the University of Calabria and the University of Applied Sciences Upper Austria (Austria), Universidad de Sevilla (Spain), École Centrale de Lyon (France), École Centrale de Nantes (France), Czestochowa University of Technology (Poland), Technical University of Cluj-Napoca (Romania), University of Ljubljana (Slovenia), Technical University of Košice (Slovakia), Anadolu University (Turkey).\r\n\r\n\r\nResearch activities\r\n\r\nThe main research interests include:\r\n•\tOrganic Rankine Cycle (ORC) systems for the exploitation of high-temperature and low-temperature heat sources.\r\n•\tEnergy analysis of after-treatment systems for innovative and production internal combustion engines.\r\n•\tControl strategies for thermal management of production internal combustion engines.\r\n•\tFluid dynamic investigation of the intake and exhaust systems of high-performance and production internal combustion engines adopting experimental and numerical techniques.\r\n•\tInnovative hybrid ORCs for micro-scale CHP applications.\r\n•\tTechno-economic analysis of combined heat and power (CHP) systems for small- and micro-scale applications.\r\n•\tInvestigation of the performances of innovative energy systems for the exploitation of agricultural and forest residues.\r\n•\tBiomass and geothermal exploitation in Organic Rankine Cycle (ORC) systems.\r\n•\tRenewable energies.\r\n\r\nHe worked in collaboration with Ferrari Ge.S., Ducati Motor Holding, Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA), Fiat Group Automobiles (FGA), and ELASIS SCpA (Fiat Group) and within the framework of research programmes funded by Italian Ministry of Education (MIUR) and Italian Ministry of Economy Development (MISE).\r\n\r\nHe was principal investigator or responsible of research units in the following projects funded by national institutions and companies:\r\n•\tPOR Calabria FESR 2007-2013: Project “Sireja”.
